Mary Ruth Washington, was called home to glory to be with her father, on August 14, 2011. Mary was born on February 8, 1948 to late Marietta Price and William Brady.

Preceded in death by Tommy Jean Johnson, Sgt. James D. Johnson, and her late husband John (Happy) Washington.

Mary was a long time member at Star of Bethlehem. Devoted her life to Christ. In her later years she attended New Testament Christian Church.

Mary left behind 3 children, Roberta Knowles, Robert Knowles, Rodney (Natasha) Johnson, 5 step-daughters, 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Mary also had a host of nieces and nephews. Two dear friends, Patricia West and Nancy Smith, a host of beloved step-sisters and two step-brothers, and one uncle, Walter Brady. One special god-daughter, and many special friends.

Mary was a very special woman and was loved by many.
